How Did Badger Get Its Start? In the mid-1990s, our founder Bill Whyte, a carpenter, faced the challenge of split and cracked hands during the frigid New England winters. Seeking a soothing solution, he mixed beeswax and olive oil to create a simple herbal balm that effectively healed his hands. Inspired, he decided to share this remedy with everyone he knew, and thus, the Badger story began.
